Object description [Source - Nothando Shabalala for FHYA, 2023: 1 necklace : material: thread, glass (beads) ; technique: weaving, beadwork ; colour: natural (brown), beads - white/blue/pink/black/pearly grey, button - whitish/off-white (with brown residue) ; semi-circular (Note: The colours are those typical of the Msinga region, the collar is made up of 7 bands of colour with black beads in between as an interface - the pearly grey beads are used to lock the stitch. The one side (double loop-side) of the collar is damaged) ; dimensions: 38cm (L) x 11.5cm (W)]
