Object description [Source - Nothando Shabalala for FHYA, 2023: 1 necklace : material: thread, glass (beads), plant fibers ; technique: weaving, beadwork ; colour: natural (brown), beads - bright red (translucent)/red-on-white (translucent)/maroon-on-white (translucent)/light blue/indigo blue/white/blue-green/ochre yellow ; semi-circular (Note: the beads vary in size, the ones located in the innermost part of the collar are slightly bigger than the ones found throughout the collar. The collar has a diamond-shaped design, with white beads in between acting as an interface (separating colours), the collar is damaged [no button?, no loop; broken ?rows/?lines in between]; it is fairly large [covers a lot more skin/surface - it can possibly reach up to your middle torso]) ; dimensions: 45.7cm (L) x 14.5cm (W)]
