Descriptions and Notes

Bleek's book makes use of his own system of labelling additional information at the end of each section. At the National Library of South Africa, clippings from the book were previously used as references for particular manuscripts. This system is no longer in use, but many books still have the clippings glued to them.

It was published in 1858 by Saul Solomon and Co. in London in 1858. A copy was acquired by the Bodleian Library of the University of Oxford at an unknown date. It was digitised by Google at an unknown date. Uploaded to Internet Archive on 2 August 2021. Acquired by FHYA in March 2022. Uploaded by Benathi Marufu for FHYA in March 2022.]
