The physical copy of this book was lost following the fire at UCT Libraries in April 2021. It is unclear when UCT Libraries first acquired their copy.

Archival History

[Source - Henry Fagan for FHYA, 2021: Written by George Champion between 22 December 1835 and 1 March 1839 . A copy of the journal was acquired by Houghton Library, Harvard University, at an unknown date. Alan R. Booth began preparing his edited and annotated version of the journal for publication at an unknown date, seemingly completing work in April 1966. The book was published by C.Struik in 1967. A copy was acquired by UCT Libraries at an unknown date. Loaned and digitised by FHYA in 2020. Uploaded by Benathi Marufu for FHYA in 2020.]
