Scope and Content

[Source - Benathi Marufu for FHYA, 2023: A second edition copy of the book by George McCall Theal published in 1886. The book contains twenty-three Xhosa folk-tales and a list of common proverbs. It also includes several pages of footnotes written by the author, mainly translating Xhosa words and explaining parts of Xhosa culture.]
