Attributions and conjectures [Source- Michelle House for FHYA, 2020: Lower grinding stones are generally fairly large resistant rocks which were used as a base to grind herbs, fruits and crop harvests. They are identified by their smooth surface as a result of continuous grinding of material, wearing away at the rock. They are sometimes used as indirect evidence for crop production in farming sites.]
