Scope and Content
[Source - Chloe Rushovich for FHYA, 2023, using Cambridge University Library materials and materials provided by Sally Kent: Accession register relating to the South African Native Affairs Commission (SANAC). The accession register as whole covers the period 1943-50. The accession number for the SANAC volumes is 131561, and they were received on 17 October 1948 (accession register classmark: RCS/ARCS/9/15). There is no correspondence from Mrs Preston on file, but there is a note in the minutes of the library committee which met on 26 October 1948 under donations: Mrs F.S. Preston, further works belonging to her father, the late Sir Godfrey Lagden. (classmark: RCS/ARCS/9/9/5).]
