[Source - Henry Fagan for FHYA, 2022: A presentation about the prophetess Nongqawuse and her role in The Xhosa Cattle-Killing. The presentation examines the context in which the prophecy was made and unpacks how numerous Xhosa leaders responded to it. It aslo describes the aftermath of the cattle-killing. In addition to its numerous visuals and maps, the presentation includes a comprehensive bibliography and a podcast. The podcast, which consists of two episodes, unpacks isiXhosa literary great W.W. Gqoba's two articles on Nongqawuse published in the newspaper Isigidimi SamaXhosa in March and in April 1888.]
