Fitzsimons Source: Franz Mayr Description: Belonging to a set of clay models. New catalogue prepared 04/10/2019: Woman, possibly marriagable young woman, wearing numerous strands of beads (pink, white, green, blue, red, yellow, black). One necklace around her neck made of red beads and claws. Also decorated with feathers, strings tied around her arms and left leg, cloth apron, right hand holding a stick. Breakages at neck and torso. People: Mayr, Franz Archival history: DT + JW (04/10/2019): This object was found in the History collection and allocated a new number in the 531 sequence, because it has the number painted under its left foot (looks like an old label). We have given it the number 00531P. Material: Clay, beads, string, cloth, sticks, claws. Provenance: Accessions register: Locality: "Edendale, Natal".]
