The combination of colours with the preponderance of white beads with touches of blue and red, and the use of the 'vaseline-yellow', are more commonly attributed to groups from the Southern Natal, rather then the Zulu further north. Late 19th/early 20th Century. From notes by Nessa Leibhammer (Curator of Traditional Southern African Collections, Johannesburg Museum & Art Gallery), 21 November 2012 - Rachel Hand (23/11/2012)
