Description [Source - Debra Pryor for FHYA, 2022, using spreadsheet created by Nessa Leibhammer for SAHRIS, from JAG materials in 2015: Object description: Small carved snuff box in the form of a short cylinder with rounded bottom and shoulder. A slightly flared neck emerges from the shoulder. It has a flattish round knob as a stopper. It has a hole carved through a rough bridge of a handle. The body of the box is covered with vertical grooves along its entire length with a horizontal groove around its middle. A few of the vertical grooves have been carved across to form pleats.
